I know it’s probably taking things too far by starting yet another new discussion but this is something I’m struggling with. Not putting everything “out there” but starting this discussion due to the fact I have an upcoming oral surgery on June 17th. Will check in later today to see if there’s any replies.

It was helpful when I was awaiting surgery to realize that I trusted the doctor, and that I couldn’t control the outcome. I could only ensure that I showed up ready for surgery, and that I can do things to ease my recovery. But it’s a change that’s going to happen

I’m willing to put my trust in Dr. Thoman in Colorado Springs for my care, it’s just waiting that I’m struggling with. There should be other things in place to look into that will help take my mind off of it like daily walks, and the possibility of a online class/part time job with the advice of a job coach.

I also love the weekly ceramics lesson on Wednesday. Great way to express my creativity.

I know it’s still someways off but I think I’ll completely take a break from anything to do with social media for a whole week in advance including Special Bridge to focus on relying on the relationships I have with family and friends and focusing on recovery and maintaining a more positive mindset, and overall outlook. The only other time I’ll post any updates on the discussion oral surgery is the day of June 17
